Why do you believe the [G's to Gents] television show is "mess"?
Disclaimer: I am not accusing you of anything...
+ I am just curious to know your answer or side of the story?
+ Did you watch the first episode?
+ Is your opinion just based off the poor quality of numerous reality shows previously broadcasted?
My opinion...
-> I see POTENTIAL for a successful reality show.
-> I noticed men who are of [different] ethnicities(cultures), ages(in a close range), and cities around the country.
-> I noticed men who all deal w/ issues...but yet realize or need to realize that they only mask their issues w/ a false attitude & sense of self.
-> I noticed the production's aim is to promote pursuit &/or ability to transform [ignorance and immaturity] into [maturity and responsibility].
-> And if the producers and others in authority of the show are as thoughtful as I am...they may even understand that the "G's to Gents" [reality] show is only a MICROCOSM of what is reality.
--> I want to know what you think!?
i dunno what kells thinks...but i think that the show is about as REAL as....beyonce's hair. i think there's so much connotation and "history" that comes with being called...or established as a G. yes, i applaud mtv's efforts as trying to reach a "different" audience...but really are u serious?? just because you have a grill or you're a guy who can't stay away from anything with less than 50 proof...def does not make u a G. i think it's a mockery of what real life...gangsters really go through.
ps. i still love mr. bentley
disclaimer: unnecessary
we the ladies of kommonthread appreciate our readers thoughts & opinions so never hestitate to speak on how you feel...
we grown honey
we can handle it, no worries!
now on to the question(s) at hand
-i must admit that i have yet to watch an episode
-but in the same breath i have never thought of any mtv produced reality shows to be of any respectable quality nor do i expect this particular show to be any different
-personally i love fonzworth's image, his style, his dress, mannerisms and his excellent choice of diction
-i can also understand where you might see potential but i thought the same of "Charm School" when it was still in the neogation phase until i saw the previews
-at the end of the day entertainment is entertainment
-you cant teach a man to be a man on television especially not when ratings are considered
-i give um an E for effort
hope that gives u some insight on y i feel that "gs to gents" is for lack of better words a "mess"
