SOREAL cru...

so i know MTV is not notorious for its quality television shows [examples: a shot @ love, thats amore, etc.] but there is one show that has me glued to the set....America's Best Dance Crew

the show has a very simple premise....crews from all over the great US of A to compete against each other for a cash prize and bragging rights of being the best crew in all of America. Now ordinarily...this would definitely get passed up for a good ole cookin show [in my hungry opinion] but there's a reason for my 300+ votes:

.SOREAL CRU.

Now i am not one to play favorites....but goshdarnit....im going to! Here's the reasons you should vote/support them:

1. They are from Houston. Usually not a good reason to support anything [lmao] but why not help houston get on the map for something other than sippin drank and the rockets [who won a million games in a row to lose in the first round of playoffs]

2. They are good. Why vote for some loser crew just because you're from the bay area and they are too? Decide for yourself. Go visit SOREAL CRU's myspace [full of videos/pics]

3. cuz i said so.....when has bo$$lady ever done you wrong? i give you good advice on what to wear, kellee kells lets you know whats good to jam to, and we offer REAL TALK on this blog.....this is NO DiFFERENT. make mama proud..

i have finally figured out where houston girls have been getting their clubwear/everyday clothing inspirations from......omgahhhhhh the color combos/print mixtures are KILLLIN me. ladies, it is NOT necessary to wear every color crayola has to offer to stand out! clowns and the colorblind are the only humans that should be allowed to even put this stuff together. please someone tell me that the web coordinator is playin a late april fools joke.....be still my fashionable heart.

lets talk GHETTO...

i found this shirt in NORDSTROMS of all places and was a lil perturbed once I thought about B.P.'s target market which lets face it does not include young African American tweens & teens.

i know for one I absolutely HATE [k thats a lil harsh] strongly dislike when ppl who never grew up in the hood refer to something as ghetto!!!

hence the phrase i normally hear from a suburban born and raised barbie or ken...

"thats soooo gheTTO!!" um how would you know??

did ya'll know that white college kids actually have ghetto parties aka pimps & hos parties aka gansta parties complete with fried chicken, malt liquor & faux gangster apparel!!

and to top it off they normally throw these parties on MLK day!! The guys dress up in wife beaters, gold chains, fake grills and hats turned backwards while the girls basically go for the most revealing clothing possible as if that ish is cute!!!!

im sickened by the society in which we live

and even more so at the buyers for nordies' b.p. dept!!!
