summer selects.

i could spend hrs upon hrs flipping through fashion mags or surfing the neverending fashion blogs, yet there are a few staples that i believe are essential for the summer. sharing is caring :]

1. bangin bodysuit: reader beware. this is NOT for everyone. an interesting twist to the simple jeans and tank combo. not to be combined with anything overwhelming....keep it simple silly!

silence & noise ladderback bodysuit $38

2. bamboozled: designers are using more and more embellishments to set themselves apart from the rest: studs, jewels, and beads. these wedges have a special feature that not only makes them uber classy but naturally sassy.

Casadei Wedges $819

3. initial-ly smitten: who doesn't enjoy personalized jewelry? no, i'm not talking about the chica bonita nameplates we wore in 8th grade. im talkin grownup, classy initial necklaces a la Lauren Conrad...ADDED BONUS: me n kellee can always share....suckassssss.

Jennifer Zeuner Large Swirly Personalized Necklace $250

4. Crop is like its hot: this season, crops are making a comeback. if yer midsection is not what it should be, try it tucked into a higher waisted skirt or something structured to offset their voluminous nature. [charlotte russe $22]

5. animal kingdom: we're used to certain animals making appearances in the fashion world on clothing, jewelry, and accessories. of these, the most popular are birds, reptiles, wild felines, and butterflies. this season try your hand at the overlooked of the animal kingdom...as close to eco-friendly as it gets for me.

topshop extra large beetle tote bag $60

6. the grass is greener: i miss those days of playing outside [yes even divas touch dirt every now and then] ...running through the sprinklers, not a care in the world. but now, im 23 and its too damn hot to even get the mail...so ill live through my nail polish instead.

pop beauty nail glam in grass $14

'til we blog again,
