every so often my daily wardrobe choice stems from a fashion inspiration that i see on a runway. HOWEVER, i am definitely not modelesque, so i have to alter the look to fit my petite 4'11 (i recently found out i am NOT 5 ft....tragic!) figure. sooooo, i love this line called Etro (by Veronica Etro, shes ONLY 25...but her whole family has been in the fashion industry doing menswear, home accessories, etc.)....she features bright neon tribal pieces with fitted, tailored pieces as well as studded belts, gladiator sandals, and vibrant accessories.
so here's my interpretation of the Etro aesthetic:
- Stretch Neon Boy Tee (Wet Seal $6.50)
- Scarf (thrifted $2.99)
- High Waisted Navy Shorts (Forever 21 $17.80)
- Woven Brown Belt (thrifted $2.99)
- Studded Gladiator Sandal (F21 $19.80)
how do u think i did? is it hard for you to translate runway to real way?
until we blog again,

inspiration to translation = very nice! that scarf is a find, but those sandals bring it all together!
You = perfect + translation.
I live and got life from the shorts. You win!
