Before there was Ultimate Fighting Championship, the NFL, and thumb wrestling, there has been a battle seldom discussed by our generation. This ongoing fight lies within all females, the urge to venture into one domain rather than the other makes us become categorized as one or the other. I, on the other hand feel I have a perfect mixture of both within myself. What am I talking about? The battle between the seductress and the girl next door, the ultimate showdown between good and bad...if you may.The seductress is that girl that all eyes go to as soon as she steps in the room. Her eyes are haunting and her power to draw men to her lie in her glowing skin and perfectly pouted lips. She is the untouchable to mediocre men and all women look to her as the definition of sexy. (ex. Angelina Jolie)
The girl next door smells like freshly baked cookies and giggles so sweetly it makes your teeth hurt. Her innocence and down-to-earthness make her a welcomed invite to grandma's house. Her dimples are bottomless and her walk has more bounce than Tigger. (ex. Cameron Diaz)

Well this is a very interesting topic to discuss. As a young lady, I have to admit most of the time it seems like boys want the bad girl with good girl morals. Which brings me to wonder... Why is it that guys are attracted to the hood rat who gives it up to anything and anyone and then when they do find them a good girl, they want to disrespect her and run all over her. I have never understood this aspect of the male mind. They talk about wanting a good girl to hold them down, stay true to them and be there for them when they fall their hardest, however, on another day, they want the hood rat trick around the corner. Honestly, it sucks for the girls that hold it down and are true. As for the good men that are out there too. It seems like their is always someone jacking up the stereotype of a young African American lady, thinking she is ghetto and a booty shaker in the videos when there are actually decent African American women out there who do have their head on straight, who are going places and doing something with their lives. Vice versa for men, their are always going to be the bad ones out there that make it hard for young African American men that are trying to become a success in life. It just doesn't make any since to me...

I agree there is no such thing as perfect. No one is perfect; however, a good girl can be just as blunt as a bad girl. It all depends on the individual. As far as chasing male celebrities in the club, I leave that to the bopps! I'm just saying that the good girl should not be given the type of a fake, uppity type person nor should the bad girl receive this stereotype as well. Bad girls can be just like good girls but have that so called "gutta hard look" to them that makes them think they are bad. Bad girls can be the same good girl chick in the club that chases after men, sleeps with everyone and so forth. Both good girls and bad girls lie, cheat, steal and everything else as well as good guys and bad guys. No one is perfect!

dc- i have fallen into the EXACT thing yer talking about...but as a girl turns into a woman, the bulshiii falls by the wayside and there ARE women who learn to appreciate a GOOD man and want to be a GOOD woman to him.
At the end of the day, regardless of if a girl is good or bad, its about experiences and how a woman deals with it. You can have sass, class, and a nice ass without being FAST...
